Ruwais November Rain

| Ruwais | November 21, 2013

This article is meant to be informative and objective:

Yesterday morning, at around 1:30 AM, Ruwais was experiencing an uncommon and powerful storm. Incredible amounts of rain were poured onto our city. The intensity of the storm was generated by the wind that was blowing with a massive force in all directions – causing most of the light damages. The damage left behind will take some time to repair. But we are sure that by 2nd of December (National Day of UAE) everything will be and look fine.

As expected, the intense storm passed very quickly. This  meteorological phenomenon is very unlikely to happen in this part of the world to begin with.

Today, the skies began to clear up. At the moment of writing there are no more hints that the storm would return.

Before you see our pictures of the damages made by the storm, we want to remind you that :

Most of the pictures will reflect that lower parts of streets will be flooded and / or filled with sand. A few of them will show how the wind has knocked down fences or trees.

In all honesty we have to agree that the trees have been put to the ground due to the fact that their roots were planted in sand. Since the terrain in this part of the world does not offer any other type of solid ground this can happen again. However, since the weather in UAE is generally calm and hot – this is higly unlikely to happen again.

For those of you who have friends living in Ruwais: you will see more pictures like the ones we have just presented. You will also know that those friends are ok.

When looking at our pictures Please take into consideration our side of the story. Pictures can say 1000 words, but the people taking the pictures can give you the true story behind the pictures.

  2. Those customers were genuinely rude and disrespectful, anyone would agree with you.
Or you have a bad day which means you end up eating chips, donuts and
chocolate while watching a film and all the time your self esteem drops lower and lower, in fact if it went any lower it was hit the
opposite side of the world. Discover how to talk dirty to a guy
