The Ruwais Mall comments, feedback and emails represent almost 50% of our website’s 1st year activity. It is clear that the Ruwais Mall topic is of high interest to the people living in the Al Gharbia region. Here is the follow up article and the announcement of the 1st Year Anniversary of Ruwais Mall.

Ruwais Mall will have the 1st anniversary show on the 29th Janurary between 7PM and 9PM.

To celebrate the 1st year of Ruwais Mall, we will sum up all the stores inside Ruwais Mall. We will provide a photo gallery, contact numbers, as well as helpful additional information. Enjoy and share this information with your friends.

With some minor modifications, the original shops locations have been kept as mentioned in our Ruwais Mall Shops Layout article. We are mainly talking about the new Lulu Connect Shop at first floor, and the Starbucks coffee shop at ground floor.

Circus in Ruwais

The children will surely love this next article. They will be glad to know that we have a circus in our town. Yes, you heard correctly, an actual circus with white lions, trapeze artists, funny clown and a lot more.

Today, 23rd of October, is the first day when you can enjoy this exotic and exciting entertainment. The show lasts 2 spectacular hours so make sure you get some snacks and beverages. 1st show starts at 6.00 pm. 2nd show starts at 9.00 pm.

Direct Road to Ruwais from E11

In case you wanted to save some time while traveling back from Abu Dhabi to Ruwais, i have some good news for you. I am happy to confirm that we have an additional, fully working, new road that connects highway E11 to Ruwais.

As we all know Exit 142 is closed. The next best route to return to Ruwais from the eastern cities of UAE, that i have recommended in this article > was from Exit 127 Ghayathi roundabout.

That route is now obsolete. We now have a new route that will take us directly from E11 to Ruwais Mall. This new highway exit is after Exit 127.

Ruwais Nurseries

It has been 5 weeks since my son was born in Ruwais hospital. I have made several inquiries about nurseries considering that my wife was still under contract with a Ruwais Mall company and she would need to continue working. The following article will present my results of nurseries searches.

Al Dana is the most advertised nursery in Ruwais. You can find it at A 281. If you are traveling from Abu Dhabi Market to Emirates General Market you can see the banner on your right side, after you have passed the first roundabout. To reach the parking lot, where this first picture was taken, you just have to reach the next intersection and make 3 rights.

Online shopping solutions for Ruwais

If you are living in Ruwais and you love online shopping, you will have a hard time getting your packages delivered to your door step. For example souq.com, Carrefouruae.com or SharafDG.com will not ship to Ruwais, because it is very far from Abu Dhabi (roughly 200 km+). But that is not going to stop us.

In order to take advantage of the online deals you have 3 choices:

1. Signup for Shop and Ship service from Aramex. Through this service you can get packages delivered to Ruwais from all over the world at an additional cost. Charges depend from where you get your package delivered from (USA, Europe, China, India, UAE) and how much the package weighs. I strongly do not recommend this when buying heavy home electronics (TV, fridges, washing machines)

2. Drive to Abu Dhabi to personally collect your packages from the couriers’ office. Here are a couple of courier offices where you can collect your online shopping packages.

This is the Aramex new office (on the old airport road / in the al jazira stadium area)

Road Closure Notification

Greetings Ruwais neighbours.

If you are planning a weekend trip the following news may prove to be very useful. Please be informed that the Ruwais Road to&from Exit 142 -> presented in the “Driving to Ruwais” article, has been closed. This action does not seem to be temporary, and i would not adventure on the road if i had urgent travelling to do.
