Tourism Dirham fee for all DUBAI hotels

Kindly be advised that effective of 31 March 2014 a new fee of 7 to 20 AED per room per night will be introduced to all Dubai hotels. The new fee is called “Tourism Dirham” and has been created by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai.

The Tourism Dirham fee will be applicable to all your hotel guests in all Dubai hotels per each occupied room per night and will be represented in a separate line item in the bill. The municipality charge and the service charge will not be levied on this fee. This fee should be settled by your guests directly upon check out.
